ABOUT ME:
Writing one’s own introduction can be very interesting. Somewhat like a test of how well you know yourself ;) Anyway... here I start...
Born to a Punjabi family. Blessed with a superb set of family and friends since always! Was fortunate to go to a school called Arya Vidya Mandir which I think has a big role to play in how I am as a person today.
Wanted to be an architect but ended up doing computer engineering from SPCE. Still wonder how this happened given my innate fear of fast-changing technology at the time, but not complaining cos the most wonderful thing happened to me during these years... Met my husband Deepak Mehra.
Some quick tidbits about me... I am sincere (no.. super-sincere), optimistic (no.. overly optimistic), solution-oriented (love making my life and that of others simple), a chai fan, safe to say a major BOLLYWOOD buff, BIG-TIME foodie for sure!! I love fish! I love Italian cuisine...
Dancing since always.. now Kathak is a passion; reading is a passion; swimming is a passion; soon to be fitness freak. I always say soon-to-be because I am still not where I want to be in terms of physical fitness.
I always feel drawn to new experiences - meeting new people, places, new hobbies, new languages.. This trait led me to some of the more amazing friends I have today (world-over I’d say), to Kathak, to Tennis, Kick Boxing, Garba... to some beautiful places in the world! Blessed!
A strong believer of God yes.. but more of karma; strong advocate of holistic living; ardent believer of be the change you want to see; whatever happens, happens for the good; believer of the fact that communicating effectively solves most issues, if not all. This belief led me to the Last Bench Applied Education Pvt. Ltd... where I work today and quite proudly at that :) Simple cooking, simple living is what works best for me!
I can be too logical, too black-and-white-no-grey at times. The silver lining though is that I do love working on myself, trying-to-improve-each-day-kinds.. so these things don’t worry me a lot!
Lastly, I really really like having things to look forward to which is what led me to writing this blog actually.. Hope you like reading it as much as I am liking writing it already :)
